Sports Illustrated Swimsuit first teased who would be the star of its upcoming digital cover. The identity was kept a secret, as the magazine posted a video on Monday showing a female basketball player.
People in the comment section were spamming Van Lith’s name in the comment section.
They were correct.
Leading the TCU Horned Frogs to the Elite 8 and a Big 12 championship after little preseason expectations, Hailey Van Lith has now added being a Sports Illustrated model to her resume.
She has been revealed as the April 2025 digital cover model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
The 23-year-old could be seen wearing a stunning black one-piece swimsuit while holding a sparkly Big 12 silver-and-black basketball.
That was just the first picture.
Van Lith was also posing in a two-piece swimsuit as well.
The breakout star from this year’s NCAA women’s tournament will be joining the WNBA next week.
Hailey Van Lith Expected To be Top Pick In Draft
Hailey Van Lith, the former standout player for LSU and Louisville, is now a former member of Texas Christian University.
Van Lith, who played for TCU in the 2024-25 season, averaged 17.9 points per game. She also averaged 4.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists. She also led the university to its first-ever Elite 8 appearance.
Her best moment of the tournament was when she led the Horned Frogs to a 71-62 win over Notre Dame with 26 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.
Now, she will be leading a team in the WNBA.
Paige Bueckers is widely expected to be the No. 1 overall pick of the 2025 WNBA draft, which is set to take place in New York City next week.
Van Lith is expected to go somewhere in the top 10.
