In the 2023 event, Gemma came in as the top favorite, holding a personal best of 1.71 meters. She gave it her all in an attempt to raise the bar to 1.76 meters, but just missed on her final jump—still, a strong showing from a top contender.
Fast forward to 2024, and Gemma continued to impress. She finished third overall with a new personal best of 3.50 meters, and here, you’ll catch a look at her second attempt at 3.60 meters—a bold move that shows just how far she’s come.
