What was meant to be a thrilling vacation experience turned tragic for 19-year-old Tijana Radonjic, who fell to her death while parasailing in Budva, Montenegro.

The Serbian tourist was captured on video desperately removing her life jacket and unbuckling her harness mid-air, moments before she lost her grip and plummeted into the sea last Wednesday. Bystanders and crew watched in horror as the terrifying scene unfolded.

Authorities have yet to confirm what led Tijana to remove her safety gear, but local reports suggest she may have suffered a sudden panic attack. Witnesses claim she screamed “Put me down!” just before the fall.

Her lifeless body was later recovered from the water.

According to local media, the parasailing company had encouraged her to try the activity, even offering the ride for free. The company’s owner, Mirko Krdzic, expressed shock over the tragedy, stating Tijana showed no signs of fear before takeoff.

While some outlets have raised the possibility of suicide, her grieving family has firmly denied those claims.
