The former president was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer last month 😭

Just when it seemed Donald Trump might be softening his stance toward President Joe Biden, the former president served a chilling reminder of his ruthless—and at times downright bizarre—tactics when it comes to political rivals, past and present.

Last month, Biden’s office disclosed a heartbreaking update: the president had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that had spread to his bones. The news sparked an outpouring of sympathy from across the political spectrum, including an unexpectedly measured response from Trump himself.

“Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery,” Trump posted on social media at the time.

But just weeks later, it appears Trump’s well of compassion has run dry.

On Saturday night, he amplified a bizarre, unfounded conspiracy theory on his own platform, Truth Social, suggesting Biden was actually executed in 2020 and replaced by “clones, doubles” and “robotic engineered soulless mindless entities.”

The claim, originating from an anonymous Truth Social user, paints a surreal picture of a president who is no longer human—a stark return to Trump’s characteristic blend of ruthless political attacks and wild speculation.

WASHINGTON, DC – NOVEMBER 13: U.S. President Joe Biden shakes hands with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump in the Oval Office of the White House on November 13, 2024 in Washington, DC. President Biden continued the tradition inviting the newly-elected president to meet at the White House after Trump won the presidential election on November 5.

Despite the fact that it defies all reason and is backed by absolutely no evidence, Trump chose to share the wild conspiracy theory with his nearly 10 million followers—without any context or clarification.

And he didn’t stop there.

In a blistering rant seemingly designed to sow further division at a time when political unity in the U.S. is hanging by a thread, Trump lashed out at Biden’s administration, calling them “scum.”

“Happy Memorial Day to all,” he wrote on Truth Social.

“Including the scum that spent the last four years trying to destroy our country through warped radical left minds, who allowed 21,000,000 million people to illegally enter our country, many of them criminals and mentally unstable, through an open border that only an incompetent president would approve, and through judges on a mission to keep murderers, drug dealers, rapists, gang members, and released prisoners from all over the world in our country so they can rob, murder, and rape again—all protected by these USA-hating judges who suffer from an ideology that is sick and very dangerous for our country.”

Spreading baseless conspiracy theories is nothing new for Trump and his followers—even if the notion of Biden being replaced by clones or robots ranks among his most outlandish claims yet.

Few need reminding of Trump’s relentless insistence that the 2020 presidential election was “stolen” from him—a claim he stubbornly clings to today—while also going on record (before backtracking) questioning whether Barack Obama was even born in the U.S.

And of course, who could forget Trump’s bizarre 2024 campaign remarks accusing Haitian immigrants of “eating the pets” of American citizens?

Not us, that’s for sure.
