Speculation is mounting that Meghan Markle is preparing to make a comeback on Instagram and relaunch her famed lifestyle blog, The Tig. While a recent poll shows Kate Middleton and Prince William remain the most popular royals among the public, one public relations expert predicts the balance is about to shift.
Celebrity publicist Mayah Riaz told The Mirror exclusively, “There’s no doubt that when Meghan returns to Instagram, she will surpass Kate in popularity.”

Public relations expert Mayah Riaz explained that Kate’s social media is likely managed by a dedicated team, adding, “This creates the picture-perfect image the Royal Family is keen to maintain.”
In contrast, Meghan Markle stepped away from royal duties three years ago and relocated to the U.S. with Prince Harry. Mayah pointed out that this freedom means Meghan can “post whatever she wants.”
“She won’t need anyone’s approval before sharing content,” Mayah revealed. When asked what to expect from Meghan’s Instagram return, she predicted, “We’ll get an authentic glimpse into all aspects of Meghan and her family life.”
Mayah predicts Meghan’s Instagram comeback will attract massive media attention. “Kate’s Instagram posts rarely make headlines,” she explained. “But Meghan’s life shared on Instagram is bound to dominate the news cycle. We can also expect early announcements of new projects through her account.”
Recently, Meghan and Harry were spotted dancing the night away at Beyoncé’s concert in California. Mayah remarked, “We’ve seen Meghan letting loose at Beyoncé’s show, sharing affectionate moments with Harry — scenes we’d never witness from Kate and William.”

“This is why Meghan and Kate’s Instagrams will be worlds apart,” Mayah explained. “Even those who dislike Meghan can’t help but follow her on Instagram.”
However, she warned that Meghan could face harsh criticism from internet trolls. “Once it’s confirmed that @meghan is truly her account, she will instantly attract a huge following.
“But with that surge in followers, I expect a significant amount of trolling. We’ve already seen the volume of abuse she receives on Twitter (now X), and unfortunately, it’s likely to continue on Instagram.”
