The Love Wins singer revealed the raw and painful moment she reached her breaking point during her fourth pregnancy, following the birth of her son Isaiah, now five. Fearful that this pregnancy might not go to term, Carrie admitted she had truly “had enough” and wrestled with feelings of frustration and guilt toward her faith.
“In that moment, I had an honest conversation with God,” Carrie shared, her voice trembling as tears welled up during episode two of Mike And Carrie: God & Country. “I told Him exactly how I felt — I was hurt, I was angry, and yes, I felt guilty for being mad at my Creator.”
Thankfully, those fears proved unfounded, and Carrie joyfully welcomed her son Jacob in January 2019. But during those dark days, she confessed, “I told Him we needed something — we needed to either have a baby or not ever have one again, because I just couldn’t keep walking down that heartbreaking road.”
