Baywatch And Knight Rider Actor Passed Away At 61

 

Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, an actress known for her work in film and television and the former wife of Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, has tragically passed away at the age of 61.

According to TMZ, Pamela was found deceased in her Los Angeles home on Wednesday, March 5, in what authorities believe to be a suicide. Concerned family members, who had not heard from her, went to check on her wellbeing and discovered that she had suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

In response to the heartbreaking news, a representative for David Hasselhoff shared a statement with PEOPLE:

Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff was born on October 16, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She carved out a steady acting career throughout the 1980s and 1990s, earning roles in popular TV series and films.

Pamela’s most memorable performances included guest appearances on iconic shows such as Baywatch and Knight Rider. She also took on roles in soap operas and made-for-TV movies, with one of her notable parts coming in 1991 when she starred in The Young and the Restless. Later, she appeared in Sirens, a crime drama series that, despite its short run, showcased her talent.

 

While her acting career didn’t quite reach the global fame of her former husband, David Hasselhoff, Pamela remained a familiar face in Hollywood circles, frequently attending red carpet events and making occasional television appearances.
